By saying that we are not women, you are saying much more than that (and believe me, saying that trans women don’t experience misogyny because only women experience it — as you have said more than once now — is a clear statement you do not think trans women are women). I do agree that what we experience might be different, but what you said is more than that. You have implied more than once that I can’t experience misogyny because I am trans. I have news for you: I experience it all the time, as do any people in our society who are treated like women. To say that I don’t just invalidates my experiences. Again, you don’t speak for all women. In fact, your definition of women is not agreed upon by most women. Which is why you feel the need to comment on just about every article on Medium that deals with transgender people, especially trans women.
