Considering the title of the piece is “Sure, I Have Privilege,” I pretty much have. The point, though, is that just about everyone has privilege in one way or another. I know you probably won’t agree, but cis privilege is a thing, too. I think it’s time you owned yours as well. You and I have talked before and had civil conversations, so I find it curious that you say I must own my privilege before we can talk.

And I think a lot of this depends on where you think privilege comes from. Do I have privilege just because I once had a penis? Does the fact that no one views me as male mean nothing in the equation? Does that also mean that trans men don’t have male privilege? I think they do, and most trans men I know would agree with me.
