I agree a degree which offered assistantships would be ideal, but my circumstances are such that I don’t want to and can’t afford to quit my day job. I would welcome a second job, but that and a full-time course load would probably kill me. I work at a community college that is part of the state education system and could take courses at state schools, but none have MFA degrees I could take part time.

Therefore, I am probably going to look for a program that has lower tuition costs and flexible scheduling. I don’t feel I have the time or money to do that right now, though, so I am just continuing to write and grow my writing in other ways. It would be a great thing to do some day for the reasons you mention in your previous story.
