I do know people who say that people who would find someone attractive until discovering the presence (or lack, in the case of trans men) of a penis are exhibiting transphobia. If someone says they are into women but not trans women, they are in effect saying transgender women aren’t women. However, this statement I mention is just an abstraction. I have never heard someone make a one to one correlation and say someone is a bigot if they don’t like penises. I wouldn’t condone calling individuals bigots because they are not attracted to certain people. And trust me, most trans women who still have them aren’t too fond of their penises either, so I get that. (Mine’s long gone but it disturbs me my post op status might buy me entry to certain situations — from possibly extended dating options to not being hassled in a changing room — just because I have decent insurance.
