Over the course of a little over five years, I have gone from light make-up to no make up most days. Like your daughters, Grace, most of the women in my life do not wear much (or any) make up. I could do a lot worse than emulating them. This list includes my older sisters, my mother (when she was alive), and my wife. I also love how you point out what you admire about other prominent women, and how it has nothing to do with how they look.
