Thanks for writing this.

In my writing I try to call out injustice, especially surrounding gender and race, without buying into the misery narrative. I do not know that I always succeed, but I try to balance it with stories of love and resilience.

I think it is important to remind people that there is no one trans narrative, and that there are positives and negatives in every story. Your body of work has demonstrated exactly that.
