Transphobe is only a slur if similar words like homophobe are. I happen to think both exist and are simply descriptive. We could just call it anti-trans, or trans hatred, if you like that better.

As for this: “Trans advocates have tried to suppress rapid onset trans research,” you should probably supply actual sources to back up your claim. Please note that pointing out that Lisa Littman pretty much ignored scientific methodology does not constitute trying to supress her research. How do you prove ROD exists if your entire sample group already believes it exists? How do you prove a “phenomenon” among trans people when you interview no trans people? As with so many strange theories those in the anti-trans camp cling to, ROD went the way of other discredited theories, and it had nothing to do with suppression of research.
